The City of Camilla values its’ customers and your satisfaction is an important concern as we strive to always provide courteous and efficient service. We believe our customers deserve reliable and affordable utility services and our goal is to meet your needs.

The Customer Service Department, located on the 1st floor at City Hall, is staffed with experienced personnel to assist you with your utility needs. As a full-service city, Camilla provides its customers with water, garbage, sewer, electricity, natural gas, cable television, telephone, and fiber optic high speed internet services.

Customers needing utility services activated in their name are required to come to City Hall and complete the new service application. There are no exceptions and no new services can be activated by phone.

Requirements for residential customers include a valid state issued identification and proof of residency which includes one of the following: a signed rental agreement, a signed lease agreement, or proof of ownership. Deposits for residential customers range from $150 to $300.

Requirements for commercial customers include a valid state issued identification and proof of residency which includes one of the following: a signed rental agreement, a signed lease agreement, or a business license and proof of ownership. Deposits for commercial customers are based on the location’s prior utility usage. Please contact a Customer Service Representative for specific deposit amounts.

The City of Camilla accepts the following forms of payment: cash, check, debit cards, money order, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We also offer online bill payment, bank draft, and a utility payment drop box is conveniently located at the side entrance of City Hall.
